The Avraham and Sara Jaffe Collection focuses on Hebrew Literature, Poetry, and Children's Literature

The collection comprises more than 10,000 items in Hebrew and texts using Hebrew letters and focuses on:
- Hebrew poetry
- Hebrew liturgy and prayer books from various countries, including translations
- Children's literature by prominent authors
- Children's magazines and newspapers, including rare poetry written for children, such as Ha'aretz Shelanu, Davar Li'ladim, or Mishmar Li'ladim. The collection includes Olam Katan (Small world), the first-ever Israeli children's magazine to be published
On Avraham Jaffe
Avraham Jaffe (1896–1979) was born in Poland to a Zionist family. He immigrated to Israel in 1912 and began to develop his collection in 1932. Mr. Jaffe was in contact with academics, publishers, and foreign delegates, and expanded his collection until he forwarded it to the Sourasky library in 1974.
Titles include authors such as Hayim Nahman Bialik, Levin Kipnis, Yehuda Atlas, Dvora Omer, Leah Goldberg, and many other prominent Israeli writers and poets.
